Meet the Worlds Smallest Motor Starter
The space saving and slim soft starter, is designed, to drive up to 4kW/5.5hp motors. Two control inputs define clockwise, and counter-clockwise rotation. The reversing logic integrates all components, so no external wiring is required. The soft-start/soft stop, offers a shock-free start/stop behavior. This offers maximum protection for the power supply, motor and what its coupled with. Start time and starting torque, can be adjusted from the front of the device. In addition to the soft start and stop functions, the intelligent motor starter, enables the user to change the motor direction remotely.
The current monitoring function, provides a blocking protection of the motor and machine during the startup phase. Adjustment is again done via a simple knob on the front. Problems with Pumping and Pipe Hammering?
The technical term for this phenomenon is called hydraulic shock, and it occurs when liquid stops or changes directions suddenly. The hammering is either the banging you hear from the force of that fluid physically make the plumbing/pipes move and strike against one another or against things that are nearby. Water hammer can be so forceful that it will break pipes or loosen joints. In plastic or rubber tubing this sometimes can’t be heard but these can flex or expand to the point of breakage or significant pressure losses over time due to being permanently “stretched”.
